A special ikebana experience
For many, Asakusa is the entry portal to Japan. Experience an authentic Japanese tradition in downtown Asakusa with Sensei Daniel, an acclaimed and accredited ikebana teacher.

A two-hour hands-on ikebana workshop. You’ll learn about ikebana and create your own flower arrangement to take home. 4 person limit per session.

A one-hour session costs 3,000 yen per person. All materials included.

Presentation is in English. Customers expected to participate in English or Japanese. Translation apps accepted.

Session held in second floor of building with no elevator; participants must be capable of walking stairs.

Ikebana is a hands-on activity. All participants must have use of their hands and be able to manipulate real flowers.

4 customers per session limit due to room size and workspace constraints. No exceptions.

No children under 14 years old can be accepted on a reservation.

Cancellations must be made in writing to star.river.ikebana@gmail.com at least 3 full business days prior to reservation to be eligible for refund.
__________________Cancellation e-mail must state the following: 1) Customer name on reservation; 2) Payer name (if different from reservation name); 3) Reservation time.
